An Overview of Our Work in Jordan

Emergency Relief Response
Our work with Syrian refugees is ongoing. When Syrian refugees arrived in Zaatari refugee camp, we responded immediately. We provided food aid, medical care, and emergency relief to children and families living in tents. Our teams delivered warm meals, hygiene kits, and shelter materials, easing the harsh realities of displacement. Our presence in the region continues as we support vulnerable children and families, with critical care and dignity in a time of urgent need, helping them face the future with hope.

Psychosocial Support
for Children
Every Child First provides psychosocial care to children affected by conflict. Our safe spaces provide children can play, learn, and heal. Our trained counselors provide psychosocial support, helping kids cope with trauma, stress, and anxiety. Through art, sports, and group activities, children regain confidence, build friendships, and rediscover joy, giving them a sense of normalcy in their lives

Supporting Child Health in Host Communities
We strengthen healthcare systems in Jordanian communities hosting Syrian refugees. By partnering with local clinics and health centres, we ensure children have access to vaccinations, check-ups, and medical treatment. Our support enables healthcare providers to deliver quality services, benefiting both refugee and host community families, promoting health, stability, and unity.
Food Assistance for Widows & Children
Many Syrian refugee in Jordan struggle to put food on the table. We provide food parcels to widows and orphaned children living in host communities. This vital support ensures families have nutritious meals, easing their worry and allowing them to focus on rebuilding their lives.
